I’m Not Really Here
Monday, January 25th, 2010Oy. Things have been a little crazy around here the past few days, so I haven’t done any writing besides the occasional “HELP ME!” sign I put up in the window whenever I see the sheriff drive by. I should be back again later this week, but if you’re in desperate need of some entertainment, please click over to The Debutante Ball where they graciously posted one of my essays this week. (Note: The essay also includes a photograph of me taken while under considerable duress during my recent Funship cruise. You’ve been warned.)
Once you’ve clicked over to The Debutante Ball, be sure to take a look around at the group of amazing authors who contribute, including the fabulous, funny Sarah Pekkanen whose debut novel “The Opposite of Me” hits bookstores very soon. (Yay, Sarah!)
Things are also a little jumbled up right now because my blog is undergoing a bit of a nip/tuck, as you may have noticed from the cool new header. Nothing too radical, of course; www.wendiaarons.com just wants to look well rested for its annual golf vacation in Boca with the girls. I mean, it’s not easy competing with all of those hot younger blogs. They’re just so damn perky.
Anyway, with some rest, some relaxation, and some obscene quantities of Girl Scout cookies, I’ll be back to my grueling schedule of posting once a week before you know it. But for right now, I’ve really got to get going.
The sheriff’s driving around the corner and I need to get my sign ready.
